The Kagools - Cirque Du Kagool
Multi award-winning UK physical comedy duo The Kagools return with a brand-new hour of pure joy and anarchic buffoonery. Join these dazzling idiots for (probably) The Greatest Show on Earth.
Since their 2014 debut, the Sydney Morning Herald’s ‘MUST-SEE’ act of the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2017 & 2018 have quickly gained fans far and wide with their utterly unique trademark brand of spontaneous anarchic buffoonery. An equally sought-after headline act both at home and abroad, their shows have toured extensively to critical acclaim.
More than just a couple of clowns who perform silent physical comedy, The Kagools’ shows are beautifully choreographed, hilariously funny and unashamedly joyful – a live experience not to be missed. It’s a circus but not as you know it, with enchanting, bold, high-energy laughs.
Join The Kagools as they continue to propel silent comedy into the 21st Century! For Cirque Du Kagool, their fourth, most ambitious and idiotic show yet, they learnt hula-hoop, chin balancing and even forward rolls. It’s death-defying stuff. Better see it before one of them gets a blister.

🚨 SUPPORT FOR Melbourne International Comedy Festival ARTISTS 🚨
With the devastating cancellations of comedy festivals and gigs around the country, the livelihoods of thousands of entertainment industry workers are now under threat. The arts & entertainment industries have always been the first to step up and donate their skills to fund-raisers, with everyone from artists, lighting & tech staff to ushers, front of house, box office, production teams and more often being among the first that people turn to, and the first to offer to raise funds for the community in times of need
Kind Comedy Festival patrons have been contacting the festival suggesting that they would like to donate the value of their purchased tickets back to the show rather than receive a refund. Enough kind patrons that MICF have put a system in place.
If you purchased your ticket directly through the Festival website, and rather than a refund, you would like all or a percentage of the value of your tickets to continue to go to the artist please advise our Box Office team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you wish to make a contribution to support artists across these difficult times (as an alternative to or in place of a ticket purchased) then you can do so through their show page here on comedyfestival.com.au. Simply search for the artist/show you would like to support and add as many “$5 tickets” to your basket for their Sunday 19 April “performance”.
Thank you for your support and we’ll see you back at shows as soon as possible.
Stay healthy & hygienic!
