Josh Wolf - LIVE!
With the offbeat, personal and high-energy brand of storytelling humour that has seen him collect him upwards of 2 million followers and hundreds of millions of views on social media, US comedy superstar Josh Wolf is one of the most dynamic and sought-after headliners on the US comedy circuit. The comedian, actor and New York Times bestselling author is a regular roundtable regular and writer on Chelsea Lately and After Lately, and has had recurring acting and writing roles on TV sitcoms including beloved cult classics My Name Is Earl and Raising Hope. He sold out shows all over Australia last year and now Josh is raring to take on our comedy festivals!
Funny, self-deprecating and brutally honest, Josh’s “long-form, very relatable, silly, ridiculous stories” about his adventures juggling a stand-up comedy career with single parenthood in Los Angeles have earned Josh a successful touring career across the US and Canada and a spot in the finals on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. And with more books, TV sitcoms and an Adam Sandler-produced screenplay in the works, rest assured you will be seeing a lot more of Josh!
With the type of charm that allows his sometimes naughty stories to come across as fun rather than mean-spirited, Josh stays away from political jokes – a lot of his hilarious stories are based around making fun of himself and his son. Don’t miss the prodigiously entertaining US comedy superstar as he returns to Australia with his new show – best book early!

🚨SUPPORT FOR Melbourne International Comedy Festival ARTISTS🚨
With the devastating cancellations of comedy festivals and gigs around the country, the livelihoods of thousands of entertainment industry workers are now under threat. The arts & entertainment industries have always been the first to step up and donate their skills to fund-raisers, with everyone from artists, lighting & tech staff to ushers, front of house, box office, production teams and more often being among the first that people turn to, and the first to offer to raise funds for the community in times of need
Kind Comedy Festival patrons have been contacting the festival suggesting that they would like to donate the value of their purchased tickets back to the show rather than receive a refund. Enough kind patrons that MICF have put a system in place.
If you purchased your ticket directly through the Festival website, and rather than a refund, you would like all or a percentage of the value of your tickets to continue to go to the artist please advise our Box Office team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you wish to make a contribution to support artists across these difficult times (as an alternative to or in place of a ticket purchased) then you can do so through their show page here on comedyfestival.com.au. Simply search for the artist/show you would like to support and add as many “$5 tickets” to your basket for their Sunday 19 April “performance”.
Thank you for your support and we’ll see you back at shows as soon as possible. Stay healthy & hygienic!
