Jeff Green - Wombat Combat & Other Mistakes

Mistakes, errors of judgement – we’ve all made them. Jeff Green is an expert. Fortunately for us Jeff is also a world class stand-up comic whose skill is to take the personal stories we’d rather file under the heading ‘shame and embarrassment’ and turn them into a hilarious new show.

Never one to hide (or learn from) his mistakes the award-winning UK comedian has for 30 years been entertaining audiences all over the world. Coming from a country that celebrates the plucky loser, Jeff’s shows are told not for the learning but for the shared pleasure of failing.

Jeff is back with a brand-new hour of quick-fire jokes, hilarious stories and relatable mishaps to give audiences a thunderous belly-laugh once more.

Hit the mark perfectly…The entire show had me laughing

★★★★★ Fringe Feed

Jeff really pumps out a lot of jokes… his audience roar with laughter throughout

Squirrel Comedy

After 30 years in his field, Jeff Green is beyond expert; he’s a comedy guru! Nothing less than comedic genius… Green’s material is the stuff that makes your cheeks hurt from laughing. Constantly

Brisbane Stage

1000kms an hour funny. Jeff bounces back and forth across the stage… 60 minutes is a restriction to a comedian that’s determined to have you holding your belly and rubbing your cheeks from cramp

🚨 SUPPORT FOR Melbourne International Comedy Festival ARTISTS 🚨

With the devastating cancellations of comedy festivals and gigs around the country, the livelihoods of thousands of entertainment industry workers are now under threat. The arts & entertainment industries have always been the first to step up and donate their skills to fund-raisers, with everyone from artists, lighting & tech staff to ushers, front of house, box office, production teams and more often being among the first that people turn to, and the first to offer to raise funds for the community in times of need

Kind Comedy Festival patrons have been contacting the festival suggesting that they would like to donate the value of their purchased tickets back to the show rather than receive a refund. Enough kind patrons that MICF have put a system in place.

If you purchased your ticket directly through the Festival website, and rather than a refund, you would like all or a percentage of the value of your tickets to continue to go to the artist please advise our Box Office team at ticketing@comedyfestival.com.au.

If you wish to make a contribution to support artists across these difficult times (as an alternative to or in place of a ticket purchased) then you can do so through their show page here on comedyfestival.com.au. Simply search for the artist/show you would like to support and add as many “$5 tickets” to your basket for their Sunday 19 April “performance”.

Thank you for your support and we’ll see you back at shows as soon as possible.

Stay healthy & hygienic!
