Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions incorporate the Live Performance Australia Code of Ticketing Practice – Consumer Code (‘LPA Code’), which sets out a code of conduct for the sale of tickets to live events including consumer rights. You can find the LPA Code here.
Terms and Conditions
▪ Beware of scalpers! Tickets are only valid if purchased through the authorised agent listed on the tours page of moretalent.com.au
▪ You warrant that you have the authority to make payment for your ticket and that you own/hold or have express permission of the owner/holder of the credit card or other payment facility used to purchase the ticket. If the Promoter reasonably forms the view that a ticket has been:
- a) purchased with a stolen credit card;
- b) sold without written Authorisation from the Promoter; or
- c) otherwise purchased or acquired fraudulently, the ticket may be cancelled.
▪ Tickets must not be resold or offered for resale at a premium or packaged, resold or otherwise offered for advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes (including competitions) without prior written consent. If a ticket is sold or used in contravention of this condition, the ticket may be seized or cancelled without refund or exchange and the bearer of the ticket may be denied admission.
▪ All sales are final. The Promoter does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change of mind; or group make-up; or your personal circumstances, or due to external factors such as, for example, adverse weather. We will provide a refund or exchange a ticket if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event.
▪ If an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated, all liability is limited to the amount for which the ticket was purchased. Proof of purchase may be required for a refund or exchange.
▪ The Promoter may add, withdraw or substitute artists (including the opening act/s) or vary advertised programs, performance times, Venue, seating arrangements or audience capacity. Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded as a result of these changes, except as provided for in these Terms and Conditions, the LPA Code or as required by law.
▪ Unless required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), the Promoter is not liable for any auxiliary expenses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an event, (such as the cost of travel, car-parking, child-care and accommodation). You should carefully consider the refund and cancellation policies of goods or service providers when making arrangements to attend an event. It is recommended that you obtain ticket and/or travel insurance for such expenses.
▪ Attendance at the event and the right of admission is reserved by the Venue. If you are refused entry or required to leave the Venue due to non-compliance with the Venue’s terms and conditions of entry (including belligerence, intoxication or adversely affecting the enjoyment of others), tickets will not be exchanged or refunded, unless required by law.
▪ Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided.
▪ The ticket purchaser is responsible for confirming accessibility and licensing requirements of the venue. If you have access requirements or wish to purchase tickets for a Minor (U18), please contact the Venue to confirm.
▪ If you received your ticket as a prize, gift, donation or otherwise for no cost, these Terms and Conditions apply to all use of the ticket.
