Jarred Fell

World-class magician though he is, do not mistake Jarred Fell for a children’s performer. The comedian-magician has made a name for himself worldwide with his extreme approach to comedy and magic. Hailing from Auckland, Jarred has won multiple awards across both fields with his fast-paced combination of razor sharp wit, ad-libbing and a tornado-like approach to magic, gore and comedy.

This unique brew has seen Jarred invited to open shows for some of rock & roll’s best, performing with hall of famers like Guns N’ Roses, Steel Panther, Tenacious D & Jack Black, as well as Jackass favourite Steve O.

In 2019, Jarred’s global recognition left reached new heights when he appeared as a contestant on NBC USA’s Bring The Funny talent competition. Not only did the panel of judges (Kenan Thompson, Chrissy Teigen and Jeff Foxworthy) vote him all the way through to the semi-finals, but giving proof to his resounding popularity, the “America’s Got Talent Fantasy” community of the 350 million-strong Fandom platform created an entire narrative for Jarred.

A hugely popular act for the “late” or “nasty” shows at Comedy Festivals where performers are given no bounds, and one of the most popular acts on P&O Australia Cruise Line, where he worked consistently for over 8 years, the consummate professional is equally comfortable anywhere across the scale from working clean at a black tie event to a rowdy room in a festival late show. He is a highly regarded corporate entertainer for leading clients such as Toyota, T&G, SKYCITY and many more.

With regular appearances on TV and Film, Jarred is also highly sought after behind the scenes, giving consultation on magic, FX, misdirection and sleight of hand to both the local and international film industry.

Jarred has been awarded or nominated for comedy and magic awards on an almost annual basis since 2006 – with fifteen awards and nominations to date including wins for ‘Top Close-Up Magician’ in 2021, ‘Best Comedy Performance On TV’ from the New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards, and the coveted ‘Iron Chicken’ for Top Performer at the World Buskers Festival. Honours have also included an ‘Outstanding Artist Achievement Award’ nomination from the New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards, and a nomination for the prestigious Billy T Award at the NZ International Comedy Festival.

Naughty, wickedly hilarious and deceivingly sharp, Kiwi comedian and magician Jarred Fell has the audience, and also some of the audience’s nether regions, in the palm of his hands. Outrageous but he nails it.
